Garnet Waterfall Earrings
Genuine faceted semiprecious Rhodolite Garnets cascade down to a briolette. The Romans named this deep-red stone granatum, or pomegranate, because of its resemblance to the rare, jewel-like seeds inside the fruit. In the Middle Ages Garnets were also sold in pharmacy shops to "cleanse the blood", "strengthen the heart" and make one "immune to all kinds of danger and poisons". The earrings are solid sterling silver, including the French hook wires, and are approximately 2" high. Handcrafted in the Sonoma Wine Country using all genuine stones. A MIRA Exclusive.
